Happy new year

It's the end of 2007.On Dec.31 I went to school as usual because we didn't have break. At school I heard many of my classmates were talking about how to celebrate their New year. They were planning to go toTaipei directly after class.They said they want to see the firework at 101 building. Although their idea and behavior was crazy for someone, I think they were so cool.To be honest,I envy them. Because my parents would not allowed me to participate those activities. They limited me that I have to go home before 10:30. My parents always said that because I'm a girl and it's dangerous to stay outside at night. I am adult.I really hate the limit.

Toffi apartment

Last night one of my best friend Alice and I had a dinner at Toffi apartment. Toffi apartment is a restaurant on DaXue road. The indoor decoration in Toffi apartment is quite special. It was decorated just like a home. Besides, the waitress all wear badgown to serve guest. When we entered the restaurant, it made us felt warm and fragrant. Both of us ordered hot pot, the food was also very tasty. And it is not very expensive. The service is good. Alice and I really had a good time and good meal at Toffi apartment. I can’t wait to visit it next time.

Ghost

Do you believe that the existence of ghost? I do. Eventhough I haven't met or saw gohst before. On the contrary,one of my best friends, she told me that she can see ghosts since she was small. I believed what my friend said because she never lie me. I aksed her aren't you afraid of ghost? She answered me,she was quite scared at first,but now she was already used to it. And she said,one ghost has ever asked her for help. I know it sounds crazy ,rediculous and supernatural. But it was really happened on my friend in personal.
I am so glad that I can not see ghost because I'm afraid of ghost.

Superstition

Are you a superstitious person? I think I am,but just a little. My culture affects me a lot. It goes without saying that the Chinese are crazy about superstition, which is famous all around the world. Superstition plays an important role in my society, and it is true that superstition gives people a sense of security. For instance,in Chinese culture,we believed that "bai-bai" would bring us good luck and fortune. So in my opinion,I think it is OK to be a little superstitious but not very.

I had read an interesting news on the yahoo web-site. This report is talking about kiss. According to report, kiss one minute everyday you can not only lost weight but also relieve your pain. Most people may consider that it is ridiculous. However, I think it is true.
When we are kiss, we must in a good mood. If we keep in good mood often, I think it is good for our healthy. Therefore, scientists made a joke about kiss. They said people don't have to eat pain-killer when they are painful. All they have to do is just kiss !

I had watched a movie called Next. A man can predict his future in this movie. I am thinking of if I can have this incredible ability one day. What will I do with it ? Am I glad to have this ability ? Or I will try to get rid of it ? If I have this unusual ability, I can prevent myself from danger. Likewise, I had already know my future life. However, it means that there's no surprise in my life. So I think I have the answer. I don't want to have this ability. Because I like surprise !

Poor English

Our oral teacher Chad asked us to find some examples in poor English in our surroundings. Chad told us an interesting example in poor English. He went to a Italian restaurant and he wanted to order a pizza.There were several flavors on the menu such as bacon, hawaii,etc. But one of the flavors is quite strange. It typed smoking chicken. It means that a chicken is smoking. Apparently the grammar is wrong. It should be typed smoked chicken. The misuage is commonly used. It reminds me not to make the same mistake. Or I may be stupid as the one who wrote smoking chicken.

I went to the hairdressing salon and had a new hair-do yesterday. It took me almost four hours to have my new hair style. I have to say it was a terrible experience.I could do nothing but wait and sit until my hairdresser finished.It was my first time to make my hair curly. Many of my classmates were shocked by my new hair style. I was used to have my hair straight when I entered college. I do love my new hair style now. But I would not easily to give it a try to have my hair curly next time. As I had menion before it was a terrible experince!

White lie

We were taught not to be a liar since we were small. However, I think it is not proper to be honest all the time. It should depend on things. For example, once my friend invited me to dinner at her house. She cooked the dinner for us. She said it was her first time cooked. To be honest,the food she cooked was not good.But I have to say it was tasty because I didn't want to disappoint her feelings.
I know it is important to be honest.But I think it is ok to tell a white lie if we don't want to hurt someone's feelings.

Oral class

Our oral teacher told us two stories; however ,only one of them was truly happened to him. He wanted us to guess which one is true and we can asked him any questions to identify.The first story is that he almost died in a mountain climbing activity. The second one is that his right leg is an artificial leg because of a water skiing accident.Many people including me guessed the second one is true.Because when he answered questions about second story was fluently and without hesitation.But we guessed the wrong answer. Teacher said that because the second one is false so he had to got well-prepared for any questions. Anyway most of us had fun during this activity.

Be punctual

If you have an appointment with your friend ,but your friend is late for a long time. Are you angry with your friend or you don't care and you still wait for him/her ?I think it is important to be punctual.Even you have known each other very well.When I have a date with my friend, I uaually go out ahead of time.Because I don't like let my friend to wait for me. I think it is rude and impolite to be late. So be punctual for any appointment unless we have a reasonable reason for why we are late.

My oral teacher have ever asked us a question.If you could,what would you change about?Your social life?Your personal habits?Or your personality?I think I would like to change about my social life.My life is quite simple. Maybe it is steady and safe.But to be honest, it is boring. In school day,I usually go home directly after class. I seldom have activities after class.I want my life to be more colorful.But I really don't have any idea about what can I do to change my social life.

Toeic test

I had a Toeic test this morning. The test was hold just at our school. Today I was unreflective. First of all,I used my ID in order to check which examination room should I take the test. But I mistook the numer. I went to the wrong examination room. Besides, it was just about time that the test is going to be start.I was very nervous. Finally,the service personnel of toeic help me to find out my examination room so I can entered the room on time. I felt so embarrassed because I was the last one when entered the examination room. I will make sure everything before I take test next time.I would never allowed that rediculous thing happened again.

Happy

What can make you feel happy? Some people may feel happy if they can become a millionaire. Some people think that owning a healthy body is the happiest thing in the world. The meaning of happiness depend on what you think and feel. The people I loved can keep in good health or when I taste delicious food and play with my dog. All bove can made me feel happy. For me, happiness is not only easy but simple. Although others may think they are common and nothing special. I don't care at all. My grandmother has told me ,when you are contented with everything then you are happy. I agree with her.

Pressure

Can you deal with your pressure well? Maybe I can't deal with all of my pressures very well ,but most of them I think I could. I take pressure as an energy to push myself forward and be more active. I consider that it is impossible for normal people to live without pressure. No doubt that everyone do not like pressures. However, when I encouter difficulties and pressures instead of flee away I choose to face them more brievely. I know it is not good always under huge pressure. Therefore, I 'll do some outside activities to relax myself. Remember, do not let pressure became an obstacle bothering us,but be a helpfulness.

I slipped and fell over on Thursday. My waist was hurt during this accident.Today my waist was still aching. Therefore, I went to the Chinese medicine to cure my waist.My doctor examined my waist carefully then he did the acupuncture for cure my waist. I was quite neverous when he use the needle plunge into my skin.The acupuncture did work.It helped me relieve my paniful.It was my first time for seeing the Chinese medicine. The Chinese medicine is totallly different from western medicine. Although it takes long time than western medicine for a period of treatment.

Today I woke up very early although it is Sunday.Maybe it is a little weird for me.Because I ued to be a sleepyhead on holidays. After I washing and dressing up,I decided to took my dog"Lumi" for a walk and exercise.Because Lumi is a little fat. The veterinarian suggested me to help Lumi lose weight or Lumi may get heart illness.So I took Lumi to a park in my neighborhood.The morning air was quite fresh. And some people I met there were friendly and polite.Even we don't know each other, they still said hello to me.Lumi and I had a great sunday morning in park. Maybe I could take Lumi to park next Sunday morning if I don't laze around my bed.

My whole family went to Dong –shan to visit my father's friend last Sunday.My father's friend has an orchard in Dong –shan. He not only grew oranges but also some coffee trees in his orchard. And it is just the season to harvest the oranges. Therefore, he invited us to his orchard to picked oranges. It was my first time for picked oranges. It was a special experience for me. After picking oranges, we went to his house to took a rest. And he made cups of coffee to treated us. It tasted good. By the way, the coffee beans was grew and baked by himself. We had a lot of fun with my father's friend in Dong –shan. Thanks for the invitation from my father's friend. I hope we can visit him next time.

As usual I went home directly after class.There was nothing special happened today.After finishing dinner, I back to my room.Well....I found out that my room really in a mess.So I decided to clean it up.In the process of cleaned up my room, I discovered an old picture.It is a picture that I took with my grandmother.My grandmother passed away for five years.She was an elder who deserved respected. She could deal with everything well.When I was a child she took good care of me when my parents went to work. I miss her so much. I hope she can have a good life in heaven.

Blue Monday

To be honest,I don't like Moneday at all. Because Monday it means that the end of a vacation.And I need to get up every early.Besides, I have full schedule of classes on Monday this semester.All above are the reasons why I don't like Monday. Today, one of my best friend was in a bad mood.She told me that one of her relatives was passed away.I felt sorry about the thing she told me.All I could do was just stay with her and comfort her.
Anyway today is really a blue Monday not only for me but also for my friend.

A movie "Click"

Today I saw a movie on HBO channel. The movie is called "Click". It is talking about an architect who named Michael.Michael has a typical middle-class family .He is a workholic because he wanted to give his family a better life.He giving priority of his work and neglecting his family. One day he got a magic remote control , he can use it to control his life.Finally,he realizes the worthwhile parts of his personal life he missed while working, and in the end of his life he lately concludes that the family comes first.
I'm so touched by the movie plot.It also reminds me thinking about what is the most important thing for me.Money is important.But I think family is more important.I 'll cherish now I already have.Don't cry until you lost it. It is useless.

I had my toothache for many weeks.But I was too busy to go to the dentist. Finally,I don't have class today. So I make a appointment with my dentist this morning.When I got there,there were many people waited in line. I was so glad that I had a reservation already. My dentist examine my tooth carefully. But it was unusual. When he examine my tooth I don't feel any ache. He couldn't found the problem .Then my dentist had X-Ray on my tooth. When my dentist checkup the X-Ray picture and said: My tooth is healthy. So weird. It cost me one hundred dollars but couldn't found any problem.Maybe I need change a new dentist.

Bad working experience

I had a part-time job in my summer vacation.It was a very bad working experiencefor me. It is hard for me to explain the content of my job. In short, I had to pass a small lead through a thing.That job is difficult for girls to take. My hands had a terrible hurt duing that time.Besides,the boss paid me less and treated me very bad.Before I did the job the boss promise me how much he will paid for me.He lied me! I feel regret and angry for did that job. I swear I would never do that job again. And next time I will think twice before I do any job.

Today is not my day.Last night I went to bed late so I overslept this morning.When I woke up , it was almost 6:30. And the train I took for school is on 6:58. If I miss the train I will be late for my first class. When I dressed up and got everything prepared, I rushed to the train station. Fortunately, the train was a little bit late for few minutes ,so I had caught the train finally. In school, because of sleepingless I couldn't pay attention to teacher but dozzed in class.Tonight, I decide to go to bed early because I don't want to miss my train and dozzing in class again.

Friendship

I think it is important to have a precious friendship in my life time. Certainly, when I am home, I rely on parents for supports, but when I was away from home, I need the supports from my friends. Sometimes I feel friends are even closer than my sister and brother because I spend more time with my friends and we have so much interestthe same . People said friendship can be described as “The gift of God” to us. A true friendship should be build on trusting and we have to be sincere to each other.

I have read an interesting article on web-site today. It’s talking about body language.
According to some studies, more than ninety percent of communication is expressed through unspoken signals. Apparently , it is difficult to communicate with people without body language. Some types of body language seem to be the same all over the world, such as smiling when we are happy or tensing our lips when we are angry. However, some body language vary from culture to culture. For instance, in the U.S the hand signal for “ok” has different meaning in Japan, where it means money. Therefore, when we learn another language, we must not learn the spoken language, but also the body language.

Night market

Yesterday my brother and I went to the night market for dinner in my neighborhood. Upon arrived the night market , there were crowded with people. Therefore, it took us some time to found a parking space. In the night market ,my brother and I had much delicious Taiwanese food and consequently both of us were too full. After we finished our dinner, we took a walk and looked around. And I was happy because I bought a pair of earrings with low price in the night market. Night market is a good place for me to spend my time and eat some tasty Taiwanese food. I do like go to night market .

A hero in my mind

A person who I admired most is my father. He has big eyes with short hair. He has good talent in repaired many things. He was always can fixed those broken things well. Once, my bicycle was broken , my father fixed it well and quickly and it seems just like a new one. My father is a person with wisdom. When I got stuck with some troubles . I must turn to him for some advice. And the other thing I remembered clearly, I was frustrated because I got a poor grade in an exam. I wasn’t scold for my poor grade. My father comforted and encouraged me to do my best next time. He is good and responsible father. He was working hard to support my family. Maybe he was mean to me sometimes. But I understand all he did just for my own good.My super father, you are my hero forever !

An unforgettable memory

An unforgettable memory for me was my graduation trip in senior high school. We took three days for that trip. The day before we went traveling, I was so exciting that I could not sleep very well. On the bus we not only sang a lot of songs, but also played poker. The bus was full of our laugh and scream voice. At night we ate snacks and had womans talk. We chatted a lot and shared our secrets. I enjoyed playing with my close friends so much. It's also my first time lived outside during this trip. We really had a lo of fun at that time. My graduation trip must be one of my wonderful memories in my life .

About my Chinese name

I was named by my father. I am not sure why my father gave me this nam婉君許. Maybe a little related to my sister. My sister called 婉琳許. Both of us have the same middle word.
In fact, I don't like my nickname very much. Someone may laugh at my nickname. Because the pronounce sounds like 洗碗精. I fell so embarrassed when someone called my nickname just for fun.
Few years ago, there was a soap opera called婉君表妹.This soap opera was quite popular at that time. Almost everyone had ever seen it before. Therefore, my friends sometimes may called婉君表妹.It is much lovely and cute than the洗碗精.
My parents gave me this name is divine. I love my name. I hoped everyone should show respect to other’s name. Because it’s quite impolite to laugh at someone’s name.

Food

Today the topic of our oral training class is talking about food. I think it is a interesting topic for us to discuss. In the class, we have talked about exotic food, special food and disgusting food. Refer to one of disgusting foods that we have mention is "duck fetus". Oh , my goodness!! Is that “Duck fetus” a food ? Although some people said that eating duck fetus can make women become more beauty. I think I would never give it a try.

Dog

Well goes a proverb ”Dogs are men’s best friend. ” I do agree with this proverb. I have two dogs in my family now. One is called Lumi. Another is called Kulo. Both of them are spoiled. I like to play with them and I always assume that my dogs have magic on them. If I was in a bad mood , I will feel much better when my dogs accompany with me even they can do nothing. I love my dogs so much! I really hope that my dogs can live longer and stay with me forever.

The moon festival

Due to the moon festival, we have a vacation for four days. The moon festival is a big day for Chinese. Therefore, on the moon festival, whole my family will come back together to celebrate every year. On the moon festival day, we will have the activity of BBQ, shoot off fire works and appreciate the beauty of the full moon. I like the moon festival so much. Not only I can eat so many delicious foods, but I can also have the precious moment to spend with my whole family.

New Semester = New Challenge

This new semester really is a big challenge for me. We have new classes for us to take. Those new class is quite different than last semester. Besides, we have to try hard to adapt ourself to new teachers. Some teachers are very strict with us. To be honest, I do not like the way that those teachers treat us at all. I know it is useless foe me to complain of. Well, I will try my best to overcame the difficulties now I have.

SMILE

I have a special feeling with smile. Smile is just like a kind of thing with magic. I like smiling. Smile is the best communication between human-beings. Besides, when we have to contact with strangers at first time, with a smile on our face is the best way to show our politeness. Long time ago I have read a study that laughing three times a day can help people live longer ! I am not quite sure whether the study is true or not. But I still choose to believe in it. Laughing it means that people are in good mood.

Wipha Typhoon

Taiwan was attacked by “Wipha Typhoon” for about two days. Fortunately, nobody was hurt or die in this disaster. The Wipha Typhoon with strong wind and rain ,but we still have to went to school yesterday. It was really a terrible day!
Because of the green house that cause the number of typhoon increased. Alas,People have to pay what we have done to the earth.

I like living at home

In this new semester, I am still living at home instead of living in the dormitory or outside. By the way, I take a train to school everyday. And it takes me about twenty five minutes to get to school. Therefore, sometimes I have to wake up very early in order to catch the train or attend my class on time . I like living at home. But sometimes I also wanted to be more independent, too. Well , I think there is no one can possibly sure that living at home is better than living outside.

CHI CHIN

I never have a chance to visit CHI CHIN. CHI CHIN is a small island near Kaohsiung. The only way to get CHI CHIN is by taking a ship. Fortunately, I have a friend who has went to there before. Therefore,he took me to CHICHIN on my this summer vacation . We really had a good time in CHI CHIN . We took a lot of beautiful pictures. By the way, it was also my first time to take a ship. How interesting it is to take a ship! We went to the beach in CHI CHIN,too.
The sunset in the beach is so beautiful. And both of us were soaked to the skin by playing the sea. I think it is worthy for me to visit CHI CHIN again in my free time.
